I shot this in July, 2014 along Lee Canyon Road, Nevada on the way to Mt. Charleston. I didn’t get around to post-processing it until April, 2015. This is a 180 degree panorama. These are some of the most intense and colorful clouds I’ve ever seen, and I’m very pleased I was there to get the picture. I waited in this area for a hour or so, expecting a nice sunset with the clouds. It rained while I waited, and I shot toward the sun as the sun went down, but it wasn’t spectacular. After the sunset, the light began illuminating the thunder clouds in the opposite direction, and this is the result. I’m glad I waited. As with all my photographs, this image is available on canvas, metal or as a standard print in various sizes. Feel free to contact us at 702-240-6777.
