Keystone Thrust Sunrise

Keystone Thrust Sunrise

360 degree view from Keystone Thrust at Red Rock National Conservation Area, May 2015

The hill, or thrust, on which this picture was taken is a unique geologic feature because the rocks on top are older than those on the bottom. We enjoyed the peaceful morning waiting for the sunrise. Because this image is a full 360 degree view, it is also part of our Red Rock National Conservation Area Virtual tour, which can be seen here: http://www.tours.patchpic.com/virtual-tours/RRNCA-Virtual-Tour.html

For more landscape and cityscape pictures available as canvas and metal prints, see my fine art photography page here: https://patchinpictures.com/steve-patchin-fine-art-photography.
